Barking from the Dark - is a first-person horror game about a lonely night shift worker at a remote railway crossing.
At first, the routine seems simple: tighten the bolts, raise the barriers, let trucks and heavy freight trains from the mines pass through. But the previous operator disappeared after answering the call of a strange barking coming from the forest. All that remains is a note — and the unsettling feeling that the shadows between the trees are moving on their own.
Repair the rails under flickering signal lights and answer calls from the dispatcher.
But with every passing hour, the forest comes alive — the barking grows louder, closer, more insistent.
What’s hiding out there? Dogs? Or something far worse?
The tiny control room is your only island of light. An old computer, mechanical control panels, instructions pinned to the walls. Everything that separates you from whatever lurks outside
The trains cannot be stopped. The connection breaks. The wells lead downward.

It follows, nobody sees it but YOU!
If the first half of the game was the only part of it, I would've still enjoyed it, BUT I didn't expect the 2nd half of the game to blow me away & especially the end sequence :)
Only con is that the controls are a little meh, like if I moved my mouse slowly, it wouldn't detect in-game, but it was still fine :)

I love this demo, I can’t wait for the full game. The graphics are so fire!Game was surprisingly fun & that first jump scare got me so bad!

Aww I was just getting into it and it ended, definitely gonna be keeping an eye out for the full game. This is great, simple controls that are easy to grasp and quite satisfying to play. The setting looks brilliant and I love how quiet the atmosphere is. Not a lot happened but I was unsettled enough by the small hints at something odd that I did find myself checking the windows quite often in case anything popped up.
Also that ranger and that cop were both dicks and I hope they get eaten.
Game mechanics is easy to understand. Amazing graphics. I only wish the blinds can be raised in the control room so we can see a lot better when we're up there. But overall, such a great game. I look forward to the full game.

Да, все модели делаю вручную. Стараюсь держать геометрию и текстуры максимально оптимизированными, поэтому вес игры получается небольшим🙂
солидно. интересно было как раз таки проезжающий состав посмотреть - очень хорошая детализация и текстурирование. и определенная "пикселизация" текстур - хорошая находка, та самая деталь которая создает как бы цельный игровой стиль ,приятно смотреть.
из того что бросилось в глаза - когда починил машину, подсказка содержала ошибку - "ВерниСть на пост". И хотелось бы чтобы текст диалогов или шел быстрее или можно было пропустить печатание повторным нажатием пробела и вывести сразу весь текст.
Прошел демку, ни одного бага уже хорошо, иногда бывает скучновато, но ничего, может, в полноценной версии будет экшен, а так демка бомба, успехов!!!
